FUE Hair Transplant
FUE hair transplant is a modern and effective method to combat hair loss and achieve a fuller head of hair. FUE stands for Follicular Unit Extraction, where individual hair follicles are extracted and transplanted to balding or thinning areas of the scalp. This technique results in a natural-looking outcome and has less recovery time compared to traditional hair transplant methods.
During a FUE hair transplant, hair follicles are extracted one by one from the donor area, usually located at the back or sides of the head, using a small hollow needle. The hair follicles are then placed in the desired areas of the scalp, where they will grow back and provide new hair.
The process of a FUE hair transplant can take several hours, depending on the size of the area being treated. The procedure is usually performed under local anesthesia, ensuring that the patient feels no pain or discomfort. After the treatment, the scalp may be sensitive for a while, and scabs may form, but these will typically disappear on their own within a few days.
