Hair Transplant Process in the Netherlands:

After 7 fantastic years with the hair transplant process in Istanbul and the aftercare process in the Netherlands, it is high time for HCI Clinics to welcome our applicants here in the Netherlands as well.

HCI Clinics is now also performing procedures in the Netherlands. Starting in 2024, we will conduct the hair transplant process in our new clinic in Utrecht.

If you choose to have your hair transplant process performed in Utrecht, the process is as follows:

Pre-Consultation: After you register with HCI Clinics for a free and non-binding consultation, the hair transplant specialist will contact you to discuss the entire process. We always take the time to answer all your questions.

Once we receive your photos, an expert will assess the possibilities, and we will honestly discuss and review your options. Honesty is our top priority.

Agreement on the Contract: Everything discussed with you will also be sent to you digitally via email. All agreements made with you and all details discussed will be put in writing. After you have reviewed this and given your approval, we will start the process.

Medical Questionnaire: Before we begin planning your procedure, we will always review the medical questionnaire with you. After all questions have been answered and signed, we will schedule the procedure.

Day of the Procedure: The pre-consultation and review of the medical questionnaire will be conducted personally by the medical director of HCI Clinics. The process will be discussed with you step by step, and you can ask any questions.

Hair Transplant Process: Before we begin, your blood will be tested for HIV/Hepatitis. Once the results are in, we will start the process. You will receive local anesthesia. To make this process painless, we use a needle-free pre-anesthesia technique. Once the area is 70% anesthetized, we use injections to fully numb the area.

Phase 1: The hair follicles are extracted one by one from the donor area (hair crown) using a drill. The hair follicles are placed on a special water bed, and we keep them at 4 degrees to preserve their viability as much as possible.

Phase 2: The area where the new hairs will be implanted (receiving area) is prepared using the Sapphire method. Sapphire is made from a special diamond that is extremely sharp. This allows the hair follicles to be implanted closer together, resulting in more natural results. Healing is also faster because there is less bleeding due to the Sapphire.

Phase 3: The extracted hair follicles are implanted one by one into the area where the channels have been opened (receiving area).

Once you are done with the hair transplant, you will receive a care package. You will need this to ensure the process goes smoothly in the first period. The first 14 days involve the crusting period. With the shampoo and lotion found in your care package, you must wash the implanted area daily according to the instructions and explanations we provide.

Aftercare in the First Year Good aftercare is very important after a hair transplant. This is also a point where HCI Clinics distinguishes itself from other hair transplant clinics. We strive solely for optimal results, which is why we have added HCT Treatment during the follow-up.

The HCT Treatment is not comparable to PRP or Mesotherapy. The vitamins injected during the HCT Treatment are a vitamin cocktail specifically formulated by HCI Clinics.

The HCT Treatment at HCI Clinics is a process used during the follow-up to maximize the results of a hair transplant. HCT stands for High Circulation Treatment. During the HCT treatment, healthy and organic minerals and vitamins are injected, supplying the hair follicles with nutrient-rich, organic vitamins. This stimulates blood circulation, ensuring that existing hairs also receive adequate vitamins.
